The art of mother of pearl inlay is specific to the Udaipur region of India.
This meticulous skill is handed down from generation to generation.
A craftsmen first hand-carves the mother of pearl into delicate shapes then
another affixes the pieces onto the frame in intricate patterns
and then fills in around the MOP with the coloured resin background.
To clean your MOP, wipe with a slightly damp cloth.
Harsh cleaning products should never be used.
