Inspiration for this Resort 20 range comes from the paisley. Steeped in history from ancient Persian origins through to Scottish westernisation and modern day music influences by Prince and the Beatles, the paisley is one of fashion history's oldest patterns. The "Boteh" of "Persian Pickles" as they are sometimes described, are an adaptation of the yin-yang symbol used in ancient Chinese medicine and philosophy with many cultural references, the paisley symbolises fertility, rebirth and new beginnings.
